'Lidded' Vessels

I am interested in investigating the shifting, liminal space between "craft" and "art" - "function" and "non-function". Selecting ingredients from each world, I create hybrid objects that explore this space between. The objects are familiar forms but the elements have been reassembled into something that looks like a vessel, but that plays by different rules.
