Interlude in Blue is an expression of an emotion contained within its surrounding. Contrasts in colour and shape convey the difference between ethereal space and structure, lightness and intensity, and movement and stillness. That opposites interact in varying degrees, thus enriching the sensation of the 'blueness'.
