The Old Man and the Sea

Kiln formed glass
41.5 H x 94.5 W x .7 D cm

This work is for Einar Vind-Hansen, my great uncle who I spent much time with while living in Denmark, my mother's homeland. It pays homage to an extraordinary man, whose love of life infected everyone who knew him and whose humour and creativity have given me much inspiration.

The red represents my Danish heritage.
