Pocket’s Full
Cast glass, engraved, polished components
11.5 H x 30 W x 24 D cm
This work aims to express my continued interest in the decorative embellishment of objects.
These remnants that I use to ‘dress’ the pocket form work as referents and symbols of rekindled moments, be that person, time or place.
I am interested historically in the aesthetic value of the pocket as a timeless functional/non functional design feature and its concealment/appearance in relation to the wearer.
