My current stream of work explores the commonality of ropes, threads, weaves and knots in the development of civilization.
Rope facilitates symbol, metaphor and analogy as is clearly shown in myths, legends, magic, wives' tales and common speech.
My aim is to transform two ancient technologies (rope and its uses with glass making) into a contemporary sculptural expression.
