Sun

Blown and wheel cut glass, silver detail
30 H x 27 W x 27 D cm

"and I will sing of the Sun" Ezra Pound, ('Cino')

Within the form of the sphere a moment of equilibrium is attained. Simultaneously, this structure reveals a tension, which speaks of energy. The surface of this blown glass form reveals the light within. The lines surge toward the silver detail providing a porthole, a window into an untouchable, radiating interior.
