Inspired by the monumental earthen pillar forms of West African granaries which represent the totemic presence of ancestors. Archetypal shelters protect whatever is precious; material or spiritual sustenance, or survival of cultural identity. Belying its solidity, the transparency becomes the vessel, weaving myth, knowledge, vision and history, bounded by its skin, fragile yet enduring. Repositories of memory.
