Lost wax cast glass
8.5 H x 43 W x 13.5 D cm
The pod form is defined by its sandblasted 'skin' containing the solid glass in which the nut floats. The eye can travel through the substance of the work, past the polished upper surface to the inside of the pod's exterior. Glass has this remarkable quality. That is why I work with it.
