Phillumeny – The hobby of collecting matchbox labels.

Matchboxes were widely used in the past as an advertising medium. They were cheap to produce, making them a perfect promotional souvenir. Today with the decline in smoking and the availability of cigarette lighters the humble matchbox has become a unique historical snapshot.
